Greg is the Principal of Balfe & Webb, having acquired the practice from Tony Balfe in 2019 after many years as an employee Lawyer with the firm.

Admitted to legal practice in 1991 after graduating from the University of Melbourne with degrees in Law and Commerce, Greg commenced his career in the law with a mid-sized city legal practice before continuing in practice with Purcell, Balfe & Webb in 1997.

Greg maintains a broad practice in the areas of property law (all aspects), commercial and business law and advising on financial transactions and documents (loans/mortgages/guarantees), civil and commercial litigation and wills and estates.

With the benefit of a lifetime of experience in legal practice, Greg provides his clients with timely and considered advice and service, as well as understanding and empathy at all times.
